2024 iPad Pro and iPad Air Coming in May (Rumor)

Turns out that Apple is going to be offering tablets pretty soon. Word through the grapevine says that we’re about to get 2024 versions of the iPad Pro and iPad Air. That will happen in May.

The new iPad Pro tablets are expected to come with OLED screens, as it has been leaked tons of times so far. Meanwhile the iPad Air will be a series, not a singular device, as it will be available in two sizes, like the iPad Pro lineup. It’s been about a year and a half since the debut of the previous iPad Pro models, so this may be the longest break between Apple tablets in recent history.

The production has been recently ramped up in preparation for the launch, according to sources. The company is expecting that the products will revitalize the tablet sales, which have fallen in Apple’s last two fiscal years. There’s also an extra 25% year on year decline during the last holiday season. Back in the day, the iPad used to be a pretty popular gift.

The new iPad Pros will arrive with the M3 chip and feature redesigned versions of the Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil. The latter could even come with support for the Vision Pro headset, according to rumors. The iPad Air is about to get a new processor and an extra 12.9 inch size, allowing people to buy a bigger iPad, without spending extra money on the Pro.

Apple was about to debut them in March, but it had to finish some extra software for them.
