Google Pixel Tablet Unveiled: Tensor G2 CPU, LCD Screen, Wireless Dock

Google held its I/O 2023 event yesterday, May 10th and it unveiled there a bunch of new devices, including its first foldable phone, the Google Pixel Fold. The Pixel 7a was also unveiled, as well as the Google Pixel Tablet, which has been leaked and rumored for a long while now. Today we have the whole picture.

The Google Pixel Tablet uses the same Tensor G2 processor as the Pixel 7 phone series. It comes with a 10.95 inch LCD panel, with a 2560 x 1600 pixel resolution and a 16:10 aspect ratio. It also gets a wireless dock doubling as a charging station and speaker. Google promises a peak brightness of 500 nits, up to 12 hours of video streaming and USI 2.0 stylus support.

The above mentioned processor is paired with a Titan M2 security coprocessor and the device is offered with 8 GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128 or 256 GB of UFS 3.1 storage. There’s also an 8 MP back and front camera, plus a 1.12 micron pixel size, F/2.0 aperture and fixed focus. The field of view is 84 degrees.

This device has Wi-Fi 6 support, Bluetooth 5.2, an USB-C port and a quad speaker setup. It also relies on 3 microphones. There are pogo pins at the back side, with allow the dock functionality. The tablet ues a 27 Wh battery with support for 18W charging. The Pixel Tablet comes in 3 colos: Porcelain, Hazel and Rose.
