Lenovo Launches Tab P12 and Tab M10 5G Tablets With 2K Displays, Powerful MediaTek CPUs

Lenovo launched today a few new devices, tablets that is, that are part of the Tab M and Tab P series. The company unveiled the Tab P12 Pro in 2021 and now it unveils the Lenovo Tab P12, as well as the Lenovo Tab M10 5G, which just came to Europe (it was released in India earlier this month).

Lenovo Tab P12

Lenovo Tab P12 features a 12.7 inch LTPS LCD display with a 2944 x 1840 pixel resolution and a 60 Hz refresh rate. It also comes with quad JBL speakers, a 13 megapixel front facing camera with an RGB sensor and an ultrawide lens, plus at the back we find an 8 MP camera with autofocus and LED flash. The CPU of choice here is a MediaTek Dimensity 7050, the likes of which we’ve seen on realme 11 Pro and realme 11 Pro+ handsets.

It’s an octa core chip with some decent cores at 2.6 GHz tops. The Tab P12 operates on Android 13 and promises 2 years of OS updates and 4 years of security patches. It comes with two memory versions: 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, plus 8 GB of RAM and 128 or 256 GB storage options. The tablet also has a microSD card slot for expandable storage.

Sensors included here are an accelerometer, G sensor, RGB sensor, gyroscope, E-Cmpass and a hall sensor. There’s also a fingerprint sensor integrated into the Power key for extra security. On the connectivity side there’s Wi-Fi 6 and dual band Wi-Fi, plus Bluetooth 5.1. The tablet has an USB-C 2.0 port, a 10.200 mAh battery, which offers up to 10 hours of video playback.

It comes in two colors, Storm Grey and Oat and it measures 293.3 x 190.7 x 6.9 mm, plus it weighs 615 grams. his one is priced at 499 euros, with VAT and comes from July 2023, bundling a keyboard and Lenovo Tab Pen Plus.

Lenovo Tab M10 5G

The Lenovo Tab M10 5G is a 10.61 inch 2K display tablet with a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels, an aspect of 15:9 and a 90 Hz refresh rate. The tablet also has a microphone, 2 speakers and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It also provides an immersive audio experience with Dolby Atmos support, an 8 megapixel front camera and a 13 MP autofocus rear camera with LED flash.

The CPU here is a Snapdragon 695, it runs on Android 13T, with a year of OS updates. There are two configs: 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage and 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. There’s also a microSD card slot. It weighs 490 grams and has a 7700 mAh battery. This 5G model starts at 399 euros with VAT and comes to select European markets from August.
