Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 5G and Wi-Fi Versions Certified by the FCC

A new rugged Samsung tablet has been long time coming and now we have proof regarding it. Turns out that the Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5 will have both 5G and Wi-Fi versions, according to a recent certification and FCC listing.

We learn that it will support and S-Pen and also have a 15W charger. The device has been listed by the FCC with 128 GB of internal storage and S-Pen support. The product will come in gray or black and it should follow the Tab Active 4 Pro, which was launched in October last year. The 10.000 mAh battery of the newcomer surfaced recently on SafetyKorea, by the way.

The FCC listing shows two devices, one 5G with the model number SM-X306B and one Wi-Fi only, with the model SM-X300. There’s also a microSD card slot inside. We don’t have specs like CPU, RAM, speakers, camera resolution here, but they are easy to guess judging by the predecessor’s specs. The specs include a 13 megapixel main camera and an 8 MP selfie shooter.

The device had an audio jack and fingerprint scanner, compass, a 7600 mAh battery, a 10.1 inch TFT LCD display with a 1920 x 1200 pixel resolution. It also uses a Snapdragon 778G CPU and 4 or 6 GB RAM.
